About
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, I traveled extensively through Southeast Asia, observing and studying the adaptive modernization of densely populated countries in which extremes of the economic spectrum are visible. In 2009, I made a move to Beijing, where I co-founded the small multi-disciplinary design studio OUI Makeshop to focus on observing the hastily evolving urban condition and conceive new ways to connect the individual with the city at large.
Since returning to the US I have been based in Los Angeles and currently New York, leading projects across a diverse spectrum of scales and typologies both locally and globally. I thrive in design leadership, driving a project’s conceptual direction from start to finish, managing key client contacts, and coordinating with consultant teams for large-scale and multi-faceted projects.
In recent years I’ve been delving into explorations of materiality and craft through jewelry design and deeply enjoying working with my hands to conceive and create objects of simple mechanics and beauty.
